Monday, April 21
Re-live your big screen childhood fantasy this week at Cinefest as they screen Steven Spielberg’s classic sci-fi film, E.T. THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL (1982) through April 27! Or for something a little more wicked and blood-splattered come a little later and celebrate the bloodbath that will be their last week screening in 35 mm, kicking off the week with Tobe Hooper’s gore fest, THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE PART 2 (1986) at 9 pm! Rock on down to Wonderroot for a NY punk and folksy Americana-filled night with Killing Kuddles, Warm Needles, the Seagulls and Above Repute! Swing on by Big Band Night featuring Joe Gransden and his amazing 17-member orchestra at Café 290 every first and third Monday of the month. Boogie on down to the Northside Tavern and spend an evening with Lola at her famous Monday Night Northside Jam!
