Tuesday, July 9

The Landmark Midtown Art Cinema has a bloody fantastic time during their Classics Series screening of Mary Harron’s AMERICAN PSYCHO (2000) at 7pm! Rock out with Paralyzer, WASH, Swingset and Highriders at 529! Shimmy on down to the Red Light Café for a night with Kool Kat Katherine Lashe and her burly-Q gals of Syrens of the South during their Tease Tuesday Burlesque: Patriot Acts event! The Plaza Theater continues their Bond 25 event with a screening of Guy Hamilton’s DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER (1971) with an intro by Trina Parks (“Thumper”) at 7pm! Jam it up with Joe Gransden and his jazz jam session at Venkman’s! The Star Bar delivers a night of retro shenanigans with DJ Quasi Mandisco’s Dance Party featuring retro-soul, funk, ‘80s, ‘90s and more! WUSSY MAG and The Plaza Theater present their monthly campy feature fantastico, with a 20th anniversary screening of Darren Stein’s JAWBREAKER (1999) at 7pm! Get nostalgic and catch a Flashback Cinema screening of David M. EvansTHE SANDLOT (1993) at theatres across Atlanta [Northlake Festival Movie Tavern (Tucker); GTC Merchant’s Walk Cinemas (Marietta); Movie Tavern at Horizon Village (Suwannee); and The Springs Cinema & Taphouse (Sandy Springs)! The Highlander rocks out with their Punk/Metal/New Wave Karaoke Night, every Wednesday! Bond it up with The Plaza Theater’s Bond 25 screening of Guy Hamilton’s LIVE AND LET DIE (1973), with a live organ intro at 7pm, and stick around for their Tarantino Retrospective screening of RESERVOIR DOGS (1992) at 9:45pm! Make your way to the Landmark Midtown Art Cinema for a screening of THE CURE ANNIVERSARY 1978-2018 LIVE IN HYDE PARK LONDON at 7pm! Darkwave it up at Noni’s during their weekly DARK ROOM event, every Thursday! It’s Mai Tai Thursday at Trader Vic’s so get down with some island tunes and have some killer cocktails! Or get nostalgic and catch a screening of David M. EvansTHE SANDLOT (1993) at SCADShow at 7pm! The Plaza Theater continues their Bond 25 event with a screening of Guy Hamilton’s THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN (1974) at 6pm, and their Tarantino Retrospective with a screening of PULP FICTION (1994) at 8:45pm!
