The Highlander rocks out with their Punk/Metal/New Wave Karaoke Night, every Wednesday! Head down the Yellow Brick Road and catch a screening of Victor Fleming’s THE WIZARD OF OZ (1939) at Studio Movie Grill (Marietta/Alpharetta) at 7:15pm! A night of hilarity ensues at The Plaza Theater with a Cineprov riff-session and screening of a Mystery Movie! Stomp on down to the Red Light Café for a night with Chris Jones & The Night Drivers! Megan Jean & The KFB bring you Lounge Act: The Songs of Nirvana as Jazz at Waller’s Coffee Shop! It’s Mai Tai Thursday at Trader Vic’s so get down with some island tunes and have some killer cocktails! The Northside Tavern gets rockin’ with a little Chicago/Delta blues of The Breeze Kings! The Star Bar kicks it in the Little Vinyl Lounge with Karaoke Night, every Thursday! Get your boogie on at Fat Matt’s Rib Shack, as Chickenshack delivers some honky-tonk blues! The Center for Puppetry Arts kicks off their 80s Family Film Festival with 80s Puppet Hunts, Puppet MASH, 80s Pop-up Dance Parties, I love 80s Trivia, a screening of John Badham’s SHORT CIRCUIT (1986) at 1pm and more! Make your way to Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre’s Movies, Bands & Brews screening of John HughesFERRIS BUELLER’S DAY OFF (1986) at 7pm! Get down with Kool Kats Gringo Star, Shantih Shantih and Lesibu Grand at 529! Alt rock it up with The Verve Pipe at City Winery! Post-hardcore it up with Silverstein at the Tabernacle! The Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre presents an Evening of Jazz with Brian Culbertson! Get rocked with DINOS Boys, Kool Kat Rod Hamdallah and more at The Earl! Every first and third Mondays are Big Band Nights at Café 290, featuring Joe Gransden and his amazing 16-piece orchestra playing jazz and swing standards in the tradition of The Glen Miller Orchestra and other legendary groups.  Second and fourth Mondays are Bumpin the Mango, ‘The groove that makes you want to move!’

Every first Wednesday is the Graveyard Tavern’s Graveyard Swing Night, featuring the swingin’ jazz and boogie-woogie sounds of the Savoy Kings!
