Emory Cinematheque continues their African-Americans in American Film Series with a screening of Otto Preminger’s CARMEN JONES (1954) at 7:30pm in White Hall 208! Make your way to 529 for a night with Slow Crush, Grivo, Reverends and Fox Wound! Stomp on down to Waller’s Coffee Shop for a Bluegrass Jam! Catch a screening of Victor Fleming’s GONE WITH THE WIND (1939) at theatres across Atlanta [Northlake Festival Movie Tavern (Tucker); GTC Merchant’s Walk Cinemas (Marietta); Movie Tavern at Horizon Village (Suwannee); and The Springs Cinema & Taphouse (Sandy Springs)! Get some rhythm and soul and rock ‘n’ roll with Art Holliday at Fat Matt’s Rib Shack! The Highlander rocks out with their Punk/Metal/New Wave Karaoke Night, every Wednesday! Catch a screening of Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID (1989) at Venkman’s at 10:30am and then get your Beatles fix with Nick (Yacht Rock Revue) and Tim at 6:30pm! Spend the night with the Nick Moss Band featuring Dennis Gruenling at Blind Willie’s! Boogie down to The Basement for a Live Band 80s Dance Party! Shimmy on down to the Red Light Café for Afrolesque: A Black Burlesque Revue! Make your way to Sweetwater Bar & Grill for a night with the Flying Balalaika Brothers! REZUR pays tribute to some of the biggest names in Latin American Pop Rock at The Vista Room! Harvest Moon brings you the tunes of Neil Young at City Winery! Every first Wednesday is the Graveyard Tavern’s Graveyard Swing Night, featuring the swingin’ jazz and boogie-woogie sounds of the Savoy Kings!
